Circling the Ring
SO much to tell, SO little time! There will be longer posts when I return, our internet has been spotty at best. Today was the drive around the Ring of Kerry and we have now landed in lovely Killarney for the evening. We're in an elegant old hotel with a grand staircase framing an arched stained glass rimmed window at the landing. It's been a grey, windy, and dreary day but perfect for a long panoramic drive around County Kerry and through the Lakes. Little interesting moments as we passed through small villages and noted some of its famous regular visitors - Charles de Gaulle in one, Charles Chaplin in another. Pictures will follow soon. Slainte!
